Approval | Yuri Plisetsky x Reader

  When Yuri asked F/n to meet his grandpa, she was quite touched by the fact he wanted her to meet someone extremely important to him.

  However the couple didn't think it would go like this.

  Both of them uncomfortably shifted under his intense gaze.

  "Grandpa, this is _____. She's my girlfriend." Yuri's gloved hand squeezed hers for reassurance.

  "Um, hi, it's a pleasure to meet you. I heard so much about you," F/n said shyly with a smile. She always thought that his grandpa was a very kind man, so did he not approve of her? Self-deprecating thoughts buzzed inside her head.

  Another moment of silence. Then...


  "What a beautiful young woman! I thought you never had it in you Yurochka!" The stocky man beamed with a hearty laugh.

  F/n looked over to her surprised boyfriend and smiled wide. Yuri stood there dumbfounded while the two of them joked around.

  "I can't believe you didn't introduce me sooner!" He joked, pretending to be hurt.

  "Because I knew you would act like this..." Yuri mumbled under his breath while F/n and his grandpa laughed with each other.

  "You got yourself a fine lady, Yuri. She's funny, smart, and very pretty! And she has very nice child-bearing hips! Give me many great-grandchildren, yes?"

  The two of them blushed profusely and while Yuri was too busy processing what his beloved grandpa just said, F/n somehow managed to respond.

  Waving her hands wildly she stammered, "Th -thank you but um I really don't think we-"

  "Nonsense!" He cut you off and pulled her inside the warm hallway. "Come inside, it's freezing out there! We will discuss more over dinner. I made lots of piroshkies for the both of you!"

  F/n turned and gave Yuri one last awkward smile and a thumbs up and mouthed "I think he likes me" before she was dragged down the hallway and his grandpa's voice faded.

  Still shocked at the child bearing hips comment, he stood outside he doorway and mentally prepared himself for the dinner conversation.
